Hello everyone,

I know, I know, it's me again! You can't seem to shake me off haha!

Anyway, the Theta Fleet awards for October have been announced...

WE GOT GOLD! The Gold Unit of Distinction is ours for a second month in a row. 2 out of 2. And this couldn't have been done without you all. Well done everyone.

Other awards to be mentioned is that Lily (Lt. Eric Jackson) has won writer of the month. Here's what I had to say about her;

I've nominated Lily due to her wonderful posts with Eric Jackson and her NPC Bella Talbot. She's created two amazing characters who are completely different, whilst making a believable backstory with Eric. I look forward to seeing how she develops both of these characters in the future.

WELL DONE LIL!

And we have also won the TGCO Award of Merit for the second month in a row.

I would like to thank all of you for your contribution to the sim and making it a running success.

I also have some Sim Awards that I will be giving out to individuals over the next few days. I mean, who doesn't like awards??

Happy simming!

James

The New Mission is now live!

If you go to 'Sim' and 'Missions' you will find the description and summary of the mission which I have already sent to everyone via personal message.

Also, if you do a mission post, then the mission notes have been updated with the various details.

The projected end date of the mission is the 14th January 2018, so two months of fun!

Enjoy and happy writing!

» NaNoWriMo

Posted on Wed Oct 25th, 2017 @ 12:58am by Lieutenant Damion Ildaran in Out of Character

I am writing to alert you all that I will be participating in NaNoWriMo during the entire month of November. For those of you who might never have heard of this, it stands for National Novel Writing Month. Participants set themselves a goal of writing at least 1700 words a day or at least 51,000 words of a novel draft during November. This is the length of a short novel.

For the sim, this means that I am likely to be scarce and my responses to joint posts sporadic. My most likely days to respond to anything will be Sundays, starting November 1-30.

James, if you need to move Damion or Mary Elizabeth around during November, please feel free to do so. I guess this constitutes my request for a semi-LOA.

Hello everybody.

So officially September was our first month being set up (Okay, so from 10th September roughly) and we have won some awards on Theta Fleet.

Firstly, we won the GOLD unit of distinction award! Did I mention it was GOLD!! AMAZING! That was done without a full month's writing and it's all down to every single one of you. I've really enjoyed setting the sim up and having you on board to support me as well.

And on top of that we have also won the TGCO Award of Merit! Which means as a sim we have been noticed, which is great!

And lastly, Susan has won writer of the month! This is what I said when I nominated her;

Susan has been responsible for just under a quarter of the posts that have been done on Hermes, and in doing so has created a wonderful character in MacKennon, whilst also creating various NPC's, whom all of which are great characters who have also been incorporated into these posts. A truly wonderful and talented writer, and I always look forward to posts from her.

And I know that award would have gone to any of you if I had nominated you. You are an amazing bunch and I look forward to the coming months!

Thank you everyone! Keep it up :)

James

"No, Mr. Ildaran. An interceptor pilot's number one priority is: do not die." Cassidy looked off into the distance, seeing things invisible to the intel officer. "We don't always succeed," she added after a long moment. She sighed, looked back at the man standing beside her. "You made an excellent…

I took Dr. Elizabeth Anderson, the ship's EMH, for a walk in the holodeck today. She went through a fair few questions with me when I first arrived. I asked if she'd return the favor by letting me ask some of her. She said yes, and so I did.
